Twofer

I hadn't mentioned this here because it wasn't my news to tell, but I figure that my brother and his wife have had ample time to tell everyone they wanted to by now.

There are not one, but two, little girls on the way.

Our due date is August 7th; theirs is August 10th.

Now the plan is to have a bit of fun with the time difference. If, say, our daughter is born at 2 am August 7th Central European time and theirs is born three hours later at 11pm August 6th Eastern time, then ours is older with an August 7th birthday, while their younger child has her birthday one day earlier on August 6th.

And, no, we didn't plan this race to the first grandchild. That would have been creepy. But we are going to win it!
