It's going to be a long four months...
Yesterday was Inki's last day at work until early November, when she'll go back 50%. She's been a bit tired, what with making another human being and carting her around all day, and she had been talking all week about how she was going to sleep in on Saturday and take it easy.
So this morning she's up before the alarm would have gone off on a work day after having dreamt about work all night. She does manage to let me sleep until 6:25 am, when boredom and hunger get the better of her and she sends me out of bed to make breakfast, and we're working on a to do list/action plan for the day before eight.
Now, I appreciate that I should definitely get used to an irregular sleeping schedule, and if it weren't for Inki's constant need for productive activity, most of our stuff would likely still be in the boxes the movers brought it in. But there's part of me that thinks that the sooner the baby comes, the sooner I can take a break. At least until Inki gets back to work....

The sooner you can take a break? Sorry to break it to you Herr B, but the baby will create some rather unnatural sleeping patterns too... :/
My brother and his family are visiting from NY right now, so I can tell you this from first hand experience.
Masha,
I was being ironic, not delusional. :)

From what most of my friends who have kids tell me there is no "break" for the next 20 some years -- ha! Sorry.
