Congratulations SFWHS class of '07!

A very dear group of my former students will be graduating tomorrow, and though I can't be there -- Inki can't fly anymore and I won't leave her alone this close to her due date -- I just wanted to let them know that I'll be thinking about them tomorrow as they stand in front of their teachers and families and walk off to start the next stage of their lives.

Go get 'em, guys!

Aw that's nice... now, I wonder if you will have such a nice message for my dear class as they go "out into the world"...hmmm

How are you, Inki and the baby doing?

Alexandra,
Sure. You're welcome to come anytime -- well, maybe not in July/August/September, when we'll be busy getting the new parent thing down. And if a large group wanted to come, well, the youth hostel where Inki and I met here is open from June through August with space for forty or so, and although they don't usually take reservations for big groups, we could certainly pull some strings....

Masha,
On the first point, no comment.
Good to hear from you. Things are going very well here; we've got around seven weeks to go if the due date is to be trusted, which, as I understand, it generally isn't. Inki is doing well, though bending over and things like that are getting more complicated. We're trying to figure out how to split up the year of paid parental leave and trying to get ready for when the baby comes. I finished painting the nursery a little while ago and we're shopping for cribs and changing tables.
All in all, life is good. How about you?

Aww...thank you Herr B!
It was fun, but now it's weird when I realize that after 13 years of Waldorf I am a Waldorf student no more.
sigh...
I completely understand that you couldn't be there.
By the way, we had our moment of when the seniors take something from the school and give something back, and I wanted to add to mine a special thank you to you for teaching me to learn without fear of being wrong.
